'Gender and Performance' is a theme I am widely experimenting with through my Fine Art practice at Leeds Beckett University. This is one of my first live performances so it would be great if you could show some support and watch!

The first half will be a performance looking at bodily movement and the reaction with materials in space and time. The movements challenge the idea of how work is viewed, and ultimately challenge the conventions of art in a non-traditional way. I am particularly interested in the process and activity of making art, rather than the finished product.

The second part is an interactive workshop where you can use any objects to create marks on a surface. This should be a fun experience and I really hope it gets you thinking about other ways to get creative!

The live work is titled 'Gender and Performance' as the production of work aims to suggest masculine and feminine approaches in terms of movement, and through the use of objects.

Following on from 'Gender and Performance', I will be running a 'Q & A' session for anyone who has any thoughts on my work.

Here are the full recordings from both sessions, as well as the images sent in by participants of the activity
